    • Budget Preparation: Implementation of Hyperion Budgeting solution enabling 135 government entities to prepare its budget on the system.
    • Pilot Phase: Implementation of Budget Management on Hyperion and Budget Execution (FMIS based on Oracle eBS) for 5 Government entities including MOF itself.
    • Rollout Phase: Rolling out the solution of  the pilot phase into 33 government entities.
    • The above project has spun off minor projects such as Projects Management for the whole Qatar State Portfolio, iProcurement implementation, Contract Lifecycle Management, etc.)
  • ERP Strategist for Arqitek: Ghassan w the chief strategist for ERP project to one of the major ministries in the region (MOI-Ministry of Interior).

  • VP Sales & Marketing for Lin Scan: He conducted an organizational restructuring of Lin Scan's Operations Department and later headed the sales and marketing department for LIN SCAN. LIN SCAN Advanced Pipeline is a leading service provider in Pipeline Integrity Management. It specializes in design & manufacturing of pipeline inspection equipment (Caliper, MFL, TFI & UT).

  • Chairman: Ghassan was the chairman for 2014 E&P Data and Knowledge Management 3rd Global Praxis Interactive Technology Workshop.

  • SME / Speaker for the e-Government workshop conducted in Dubai for the Government of Sudan.

  • Oil & Gas Industry Leader – MEA (2011 - 2013): 

    He was responsible for the industry’s strategic accounts planning, building and maintaining effective relationships with senior executives, understanding their needs and ensuring better customer satisfaction. As a member of the Global O&G team, he defined and justified solution blueprints based on Oracle’s products portfolio (ERP, EPMS, EAMS, etc.) while maximizing sales of licenses & support, consulting and training services. He evaluated and generated opportunities applying industry’s insight, broad market knowledge, developing innovative Value Propositions, in order to maximize sales pipeline.
