Helped raised my grandkids and a few other families kids.  I would pick kids up from school, take them home, cook, clean and run errands that parents needed done.

For Bucky's my job included running the cash register, Stocking coolers, doing inventory and cleaning.  Among these jobs, I greeted customers at the gas pump and when they walked into the store.  I would also resolve any issues that customers would have.

Working at Wal-Mart as a Cashier and at the Courtesy Desk, I was always in contact with the public in person and on the phone. Many of the calls were product related or complaints. In person I had to accept exchanges or returns from the Customer should the product be damaged or not to their liking. I believe working at the Courtesy Desk has helped me deal with Customers on a one to one basis. Every situation is different and at times can become stressful. I handled each situation to a comfortable result for the Customer. My philosophy has always been, the Customer comes first and I am there to serve them.

Line Cook

Whidbey Golf and Country Club

My main job at  Whidbey Golf and Country Club was being a Line cook.   I prepped food and made orders for club members.  Even being a Line cook I would also set up for major golf and special events.  Once a week we would do a deep cleaning of the kitchen, take in shipments and do inventory.

Crew member/Crew Leader

Working at McDonalds, the number one goal was insuring that customers left with great customer service and satisfaction.   To meet this goal  I would grill food, help out on the cook line when needed, stock the items that we would run low on and  clean grills.  Other responsibilities that I had gained as I moved up in position dealt with operating Cash register and running drive-thru.

Crew Leader/Assistant Manager

Dairy Queen

At Dairy Queen it was very easy to advance in positions.  I started with Cleaning store and machines, making orders, running cash register and running drive-thru.  When becoming an Assistant Manager I took on more responsibilities such as  dealing with customer complains, scheduling employees and making sure front of store was running smoothly.   I'd also help with planning monthly meetings  in which we would discuss different promotions, discounts and any other issues that had come up over the past month.
