During the last 16 years I have:

  • Managed multi-million-pound programmes designing, developing, testing and implementing SS7 and SIGTRAN based IVR and Value Added Solutions (SMSC, Voicemail, MMS) throughout EMEA/ APAC. I matrix-managed teams of over 20 staff and 3rd party suppliers with a full budgetary responsibility of up to $2.5m USD. I worked with resellers including Huawei and Ericsson and delivered to telcos including Ooredoo (formerly Nawras), Wind Hellas and Lycatel.
  • Programme managed the delivery of the Orange UK GSM (2G) and UMTS (3G) RAN programmes across functional areas, including Supply Chain, Regional and Core Network Planning, Acquisition and Estates, Third Party and Site Share, Construction, Installation, Commissioning and Integration.
  • Designed, developed, implemented and supporting an IT solution used by Nokia with 200 users for over 3 years to manage the 2G Refresh and the 3UK Buy-In and Free Carrier LTE (4G) programmes. In 2015, MBNL praised the tool for creating a ‘diamond’ standard in telecom reporting.
  • Implemented a tactical solution to provide ETL, case/ notes management and consolidated reporting, including a feed into the CTIL Acquisition workflow tool for the London programme.

I have developed data science skills to manage effectively, specialising in:

  • Relational Database skills, including SQL (MySQL, MS SQL Server) and programming (T-SQL/ PL-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions & Triggers)
  • Extract, Transform + Loading (ETL) data using PHP, VBA, SSIS, R and tools that I have developed
  • Visualisation/ reporting tools, including Tableau and Business Objects.
