  • Primary Technician responsible for managing and maintaining systems in both the Clare Street and Georges Quay Campus.
  • Diagnosis of desktop, application, networking and infrastructure issues.
  • Troubleshooting PC’s, laptops, Macs, printers, projectors and other peripheral devices.
  • Audio / visual support.
  • Providing 1st, 2nd, 3rd line support to users.
  • The creation and deployment of both Windows and Mac OS X system images within the campuses.
  • Deploying Group Policy using GP Management Console.
  • Provide training for staff and students when required.
  • Providing quarterly reports at staff meetings on work completed and to make recommendations on how to improve the IT infrastructure.
  • Working closely with software suppliers to resolve operational issues.
  • Overseen the creation of 3 new labs containing 60 new Apple iMac computers, 3 interactive whiteboards and projectors.
  • Asset tracking of IT hardware
  • Cloudify applications for use with Application Jukebox. (Application Jukebox is a means to streaming an application from a server rather then installing locally).

  • Responsible for the logging and resolving of calls through ticket systems Numara Footprints and SCSM (System Center Service Manager).
  • The creation and deployment of system images throughout labs within the campus.
  • Administering the IT department’s policies and procedures.
  • Printing and photocopying service for all academic staff within the college.
  • Provided support for the HEAC (Hartnett  Enterprise Acceleration Center) which includes:
  1. Printer Setup, install drivers on PC/Laptops.
  2. Software installs for LIT associated staff and companies.
  3. Hardware Setup, New PC's or equipment that is required to be setup.
  4. General maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Provided support for the NFC (National Franchise Center) which includes:
  1. Setup of local accounts on PC's for new companies.
  2. Allow printer access for the new companies.
  3. Install any required software.  Provide on site training on how to use the computers, printers and connect to the available WiFi.


My main interests include playing football. I also enjoy playing snooker, darts, playing guitar and listening to music.
