With nearly a decade of experience in businesses management and leadership, Italian media strategist Geraldine Semeghini provides exceptional skills to the communications and public relations industries. Born and raised in Merano near the Austrian border, she grew up in a bilingual environment, speaking both Italian and German fluently. Ms. Semeghini soon developed a passion for hospitality and management and produced a special project on tourism management while in high school.

Eventually, Ms. Semeghini gained admission to the Università Ca'Foscari Venezia, earning 1 of only 60 slots for admission out of 1,000 applications. She employed her language skills effectively during her collegiate career, working extensively as a translator and host at trade fairs. During her semester at Heilbronn University in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, she displayed her management skills by operating a pub on campus.

After earning a degree in tourism management, Geraldine Semeghini accepted a position in Venice with HG3 Italia, SPA, which offered the first 3G universal mobile telecommunications system services in the world. First serving as a Consumer Accountant, she established a reputation for developing successful customer relations. Promoted to Store Manager, Ms. Semeghini demonstrated her leadership ability, creating business strategies and commercial targets for the store to complete, as well as overseeing the human resources department.

Since 2005, Geraldine Semeghini has owned her own event promotion and organizing firm, Chic Communication, SRL, in Milan. Along with creating in-store promotions and product presentations, she develops team-building activities and incentive travel planning for businesses. Among the events she organized with Chic Communication is the Heineken Jammin’ Festival in Venice. Ms. Semeghini also helps manage the selection events for Donnavventura, a women's travel documentary series for the Rete 4 network.
