Project Description

MarkitSERV provides end-to-end trade processing and workflow solutions that support all participants in OTC trading from pre trade credit checking for clearing certainty to post trade notices of execution, trade confirmation, allocations, clearing and regulatory reporting. It also helps to manage your operational risk for over-the-counter (OTC) derivative products by using an electronic network to exchange trade data, confirm transactions and achieve straight-through processing (STP) including connectivity to clearing venues. Using existing mainframe connections, derivative process are conducted in real-time, highly automated, and identifies errors that can be corrected immediately. A front-end web interface rounds out the offering, whether for trade comparison input, on-line research, or management reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Involved in the Development and Enhancement of the Novation consent Management & DSMatch system for Markitserv. This system is developed using Struts Framework with JSP and Servlets as the front end and DB2 as the back end.
  • Involved in the Development and enhancement of various applications in DSMATCH system especially DSRATES, NCM and DSCREDITS.
  • Developing Applications with Java Technology and Framework such as Struts.
  • Technologies used were DOJO, DWR, AJAX, JQuery, SlickGrid.
  • Involved in the SDLC such as Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding and Testing for the new Requirements.

Project Description

  • Was involved in developing CashFlow application. CashFlow is used to authenticate the funds transfer for the Client Cash Remittance funds out of the bank. When Clients come to the Front Office people requesting a Wire/ACH/Check/Draft/Internal transfer, a disbursement request is initiated which goes to various levels of Approvals before it is completed.
  • Completed requests can be viewed and be generated as a PDF/Excel Report for Audit purposes.
  • Involved in New Account Opening, LOAN Modification, KYC & FATCA enhancements.

 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Involved through out the SDLC lifecycle of the application (Phase - 1).
  • Application development that includes:

Project Description

  • Currently involved in developing Overdraft application. Design includes identifying Accounts which have the potential to cause an Overdraft.
  • Monitoring the Overdraft Accounts and sending notification to the customers.
  • Updating the amount back to the FIS System once the customer has paid back the amount.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implementing various Pega PRPC components like Flows, Flow Action, Data page, Decision Rules, Declarative Expression rules, Activity, Integration services, correspondence etc.
  • Creating User Interface using Harness and Section Rules.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting of PRPC applications using Clipboard, Tracer.
