Produced a series of documents on reptiles for regeneration scheme. Visited sites and assessed habitats for reptile potential & receptor site potential, produced guidance documents for clearance, management and enhancement for reptiles. Produced all documents to high standard well within the timeframe given.

Parks Officer

Lambeth Council

Supervised corporate volunteers and coordinated park landscaping and management for wildlife. Advised Froglife of council sites with potential for reptiles and amphibians and possibilities for enhancement.

Independent Research Project

Rothamsted Research

Independent research project as part of my degree. Collated samples gathered by Rothamsted Research over the last 60 years and analysed the data using advanced statistics in order to evaluate the significance of the relationship between H. philanthus and climate change. Results were published in Entomologists Record.

Display Team Member

Blue Reef Aquarium

Aided the display team with display management and public presentations, also responsible for rearing seahorses in the nursery.

Trainee Ecologist

Supported ecologists carrying out initial site assessments and protected species surveys. Checked existing reptile tiles and placed new ones, identified and recorded individuals observed. Assessed mammal excavations for badger activity and bat carried out activity survey work.
