Independent Research Project
Independent research project as part of my degree. Collated samples gathered by Rothamsted Research over the last 60 years and analysed the data using advanced statistics in order to evaluate the significance of the relationship between H. philanthus and climate change. Results were published in Entomologists Record.

Supported ecologists carrying out initial site assessments and protected species surveys. Checked existing reptile tiles and placed new ones, identified and recorded individuals observed. Assessed mammal excavations for badger activity and bat carried out activity survey work.
