George is a real estate Broker serving investors and home-owners during commercial and residential property purchases and sales. He also is available to advise brokerages, franchises, agents, associations and boards about branding, digital marketing and professionalism in real estate.
Previously George was a management consultant.He was a Vice President in the Toronto office of PricewaterhouseCoopers and before that a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting. He also worked in industry for both private and publicly traded companies for several years, as a director in technology and mergers and acquisitions, and previous to that in various management roles at aerospace and manufacturing companies in Canada and the United States.
He has significant expertise in managing complex projects, personal branding, digital marketing, business performance improvement, technology selection and application, and in planning and executing mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Queen’s University.
George uses technology to better serve his clients, coupled with the best traditional marketing methods. Social media, blogging, on-line videos and digital marketing are tools he uses and they have helped him achieve Royal LePage's Master Sales Award level in both the first two years he was licensed. This recognition is awarded to only approximately the top 10% of agents each year.
As a second generation Realtor®, George understands the business from the ground up. He assisted his family's business in various capacities before going out on his own working for other companies. For over 20 years, George personally invested in real estate, building up a portfolio of residential, multi-family and commercial properties in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario and the U.S. In 2007, he decided to get licensed as a sales representative, and in 2009 he qualified to become a Broker.
George is a sought after speaker for real estate events since he has a unique combination of hands-on sales, marketing, management, technology, consulting and leadership skills. Over the years he has been interviewed by traditional radio, newspaper and TV media, as well as new media. He has significant experience leading teams and in helping individuals and businesses improve their performance through branding and digital marketing. He is the founder of the monthly Real Estate Technology Toronto Meetup group, founder of the annual Social Media Marketing Summit for Real Estate, and on occasion provides one-to-one consulting advice to brokerages, franchises, agents, associations and boards about digital marketing and professionalism in real estate. He has had a number of articles published over the years by various media outlets, and is currently writing a book on personal branding, professionalism and digital marketing.
George has taught several courses over the years to college and university students, as well as to industry managers and executives. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at Humber College in Toronto where he teaches a weekly economics course about the financial and real estate markets
