Front office development on the trade floor inside the Investment section of BAML. Designed and built a tool to monitor live market data (over 500 Yield Curves including FX, Swaps and Options) which is in use by the bank. Web front-end for configuration and live notifications. The monitor is built in Python and an in-house data-flow language and performs multiple and numerical checks at timed intervals.

Extensive trading, rates sales and financial experience. Developed communication skills from working in a global team. Performed in an intense and high pressure environment and received classes from experts on presentation skills, python development, and agile development.

  • High Performance Computing - Designing and optimising high performance parallel algorithms utilising languages such as: OpenMP, MPI and OpenCL for CPU's / GPU's on Bristol's supercomputer, BlueCrystal.
  • Games Project - A 3D, 2-player racing game with AI utilising the Myo armband as a controller. Developed in Unity. All models were built in Maya. Improved communication  and development skills within a group environment by utilising Agile methodologies and software such as  git and Trello. Mentored by local software consultancy company, Softwire. The game is now demonstrated at University of Bristol open-days.   
  • Software Product Engineering - Ecommerce website for local Bristol Gourmet Burger restaurant, YoYo Burger. Winner of "IBM Best Second Year Group Project Prize".
