Entrepreneur and executive Geoff Chasin has owned and led several successful businesses in the home delivery and mattress industries. Currently, Geoff Chasin owns and serves as President of New England Retail Express, a provider of home delivery services to commercial and residential customers throughout the United States. Since assuming ownership of New England Retail Express in 1989, Geoff Chasin has expanded what was once a modest one-truck operation into a thriving business. The company has performed more than 20 million nationwide deliveries for retailers and wholesalers such as Sears, JCPenney, Ikea, Crate & Barrel, and DirectBuy. Under Geoff Chasin’s leadership, the company’s projected annual sales figures have grown tenfold, from $2 million to over $20 million. Additionally, the business has extended into new territories, opening facilities in areas such as New Orleans. Apart from New England Retail Express, Geoff Chasin owned and presided over Amalgamated Mattress Co. in Stoughton, Massachusetts, from 1992 to 2009. He also ran his own trucking business for a number of years, performing deliveries and household moves in the Boston area. Committed to sharing his success with others, Geoff Chasin has provided philanthropic support to numerous organizations in Boston and beyond. An appreciator of culture and the arts, he has given to public television and radio; the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. His charitable contributions have also enriched lives in the areas of education and medicine. Past recipients include the Epiphany School for children from disadvantaged areas, the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the Jimmy Fund Clinic for children with cancer. Additionally, Geoff Chasin has backed efforts to aid individuals in need as a supporter of Rosie’s Place and Pine Street Inn.
