Summary

I am passionate about back country adventure experiences. I especially enjoy sharing the experience with guests. I make sure they feel welcome, special, comfortable, relaxed, taken care of, and generally, right at home. I consider myself a true people person, yet I can thrive on the challenge of living in a remote location for long periods of time.

September 4, 2014 - Genia and I worked very closely together on major projects and events at Bozzi Media. We launched several large, new, high profile events during our mutual time at the magazine/publishing group. I was, at that time, Editor of Inland Business Catalyst Magazine. Thanks to her expertise at managing and promoting events, we sold out our first "Women in Business Leadership Awards" breakfast and packed the house for the "20 Under 40" and "Best Businesses" events that same year. She was organized, calm and creative throughout the planning, actual event and was disciplined with follow up. I never worried that an event would be professional because she made sure all the event goals and elements were achieved or surpassed. She is a master at keeping multiple projects on the burner--so even when she is preparing for an event tonight, she is still making sure future events are moving forward. Genia is enjoyable to work with, well connected and well respected in the event management field. When she is involved with an event I know it will be fabulous, fun and memorable!    

September 13, 2012 - Genia, as the owner of Mia Bella Eventi Productions, pulled together an event for 1,200 people in little more than three weeks. It was a complex formal event with many community leaders and dignitaries. Everything was perfection from the publicity, red carpet, paparazzi and swag bags to the entertainment, catering and vendors. The event was a sell-out, was the talk of the town for many weeks and set the bar high for subsequent events! Genia is creative and calm, connected to vendors and collaborators and always a gracious hostess. She brings all the necessary elements together to create memorable events.

Mermaids of the Lake hired Genia to create an event for us, one that would give us an opportunity to give back to our community in a unique and impactful way. We asked her to do this event with virtually nothing - no monies, no prior lists of supporters or sponsors, no event formula to work from. If the Shoe Fits…Wear It! was tremendously successful. Not only did we have an impactful event that was completely different from anything ever done in our city, but monies were raised to purchase over 700 pairs of shoes for local needy children. Genia has a special gift of working with others who have diverse opinions and distinctive requirements. Like an orchestra conductor, she brings all elements and players together in a beautiful and coordinated way, resulting in something more than the sum of the parts.
