Internship Position 

City College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield

Technical coordinator of the 14th Students' Spring Symposium, an annual event in City College. The main responsibilities included: 

  • designing the website of the event 
  • preparing posters and other promotional material 
  • collecting pictures and videos during the event and editing them afterwards 
  • attending regular meetings and taking a leadership position

Poulideio institution

Part of the module "Industrial Project" required for the completion of the Bachelor's Degree in City College. As a team, we had to develop a real-life system for "Poulideio institution".  The main responsibilities included: 

  • have regular meetings with the client to make sure the requirements are clearly understood 
  • deliver a system which would digitalize the way patients are managed in this institution 
  • close collaboration with the team members towards the goal of delivering a system which would meet the goals of the end users

Summer work experience part of the work and travel program in the United States. Main responsibilities included:

  • selling merchandise at gift shops
  • ringing up sales on cash register
  • taking care of the shop
  • communicating with guests

  • excellent communication skills gained through my experience as a participant in the work and travel program in the United States and as an international student in Greece.
  • strong presentation and negotiation skills gained through being an active member of college activities and charity projects organized by City College's Sunrise Club and YMCA Kosovo

  • Highly motivational and also great at motivating others.
  • Excellent team-working skills gained during the bachelor degree.
  • Great leadership and decision-making skills gained by being a team leader several times in group work assignment during the bachelor degree.
  • Excellent time-management skills and able to plan, meet deadlines and set priorities. 
  • Problem-solving skills gained through projects that required software development.
  • These skills were mostly acquired by being in the organizing committee of the 14th Students' Spring Symposium, an annual event organized by students of City College. 

Computer Skills 

  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming using Java.
  • Confident at web development and designing using PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript. 
  • Confident at designing and developing databases using MySQL.
  • Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel.

  • "Le-Quiz": A Web Application for Teaching Computer Science Students Professional Issues (Dissertation Project) 
  • Patients' Management System (PMS) : An application developed for Poulideio Institution (Industrial Project)
