Data Analysis

I have three years experience of data analysis at University looking at journal articles, Government reports, newspaper articles, research reports and data. I have successfully analysed complicated data sets, interpreted and presented them clearly into reports. My dissertation report gained a first class mark and demonstrates my strong ability for research and data analysis.

Web Skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Advanced knowledge of HMTL and CSS having built my own website for a university project. Also have extensive experience with Content Management Systems. I am also very confident when using data analysis programmes like SPSS. 


I have worked in many different teams while attending university on various projects consisting of assignments and presentations. I have been able to develop the ability to work with a variety of people and to fit into a team immediately while having to work on projects with a limited time frame.


I currently have a year of administration experience. My responsibilities were to update the website as necessary using a content management system, filing various confidential paperwork, answering emails and creating mail lists, organising meetings and events, creating pdf files of information and uploading these to the website, designing and printing posters and leaflets to promote the service, sending out mass emails and liaising with staff who would also send on emails and finally filling in databases with data and presenting data to my line manager and others on the team.


At university, I have refined my communication skills from having to give presentations to my lecturers and fellow students, writing assignments and synthesising my argument and communicating within a team for group projects. In my working life, I have also had to deliver presentations  based upon my research and data analysis of the department's ability to utilise social media, I have also successfully organised staff training events that required cross communication with different departments.

I served as the School Representative for the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Events students, gathering opinions from students about the course and feeding this back to the lecturers. I organised and attended meetings and discussions between students and professors.

Administrative Assistant

Learning Support and Wellbeing - Plymouth University

My role was within the Department of Learning Support and Wellbeing at Plymouth University. I was primarily in a marketing role here but also took on administrative duties. In this role, I handled organising promotional events and staff training events from inception to completion. I received excellent feedback from attendees of this event about the organisation and communication employed. I was also responsible for undertaking market research to gather information from the students about the current marketing strategies. Using this data, analysed in SPSS, I redesigned the marketing material for the department and distributed it around the campus through various mediums including, email, online and physical posters. I was also responsible for updating the website and can confidently use a content management system

DL Kids Assistant/Coach -

In this role, I handled organising and running children's after school and summer holiday activity sessions with either one or two other staff members. These sessions were delivered in line with the David Lloyd Kids programme in line with Product Briefs, Lesson Plans and Templates including Club Play, Club Active, Holiday Active and Children's Parties and events. The needs of many different children also needed to be taken into account.

Activity Instructor


My responsibilities in this role consisted of constructing and delivering activity plans for school groups on a weekly basis. For example the group had set sessions all week, I would assess the children's needs and organise activities accordingly. I was also doing daily safety assessments of the environment and activity equipment to ensure they were safe and working in a team with other activity instructors to run group activities. I achieved an NVQ Level 2 in Activity Instructing from this role.

I worked on the Kids Floor of the shop and handled restocking and tidying the shop floor, serving customers and cash transactions. Occasionally I would also handle redesigning the look of the models and layout of the shop floor that showed my creative side.

Customer Counters Assistant

I worked with a small team on the Delicatessen where we would serve customers, ensure hygiene standards were met, promote selected foods to customers. Along with organising the food to ensure none were out of date, cooking hot food and serving on the fish stand when required. This role required multi-tasking and efficient communication between team members as there could be several tasks that simultaneously needed attention. I was praised highly for my effective communication and teamwork in this role.
