Operation Management - Fully accountable for all departments within the warehousing/ trucking facilities, with all P&L, accounting & budget responsibility. Development of college department budget and maintaining compliance with budget goals, analysis of operational trends and factors that impact the organization, IPEDS, and annual audit.
Training Development / Education - In charge of Manpower Planning, Budgeting and Talent Strategies companywide. Developed & implemented performance evaluation process and mentoring programs. Wrote and put into practice full training programs by department needs. Advised students that are working towards a degree or certificate programs in the areas of Business, Nursing, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Human Services and Education.
Regulatory / Compliance - Complied with regulatory requirements for the trucking industry, as pertaining to interstate transportation. Maintained regulatory authority over Title IV funding, as required by the Department of Education. Organized, file and managed all students, customers and staff documentations for federal inspections and audits by the Department of Education, the National Assoication of Securities Dealers (NADS) & Security & Exchange Commission (SEC).
Financial Planning & Development / Accounting - Created & maintained annual budget. Oversaw accounting department, to include A/R, A/P, payroll. and inventory.
Leadership - Proficient in building teams to create and deliver the service level required to achieve results. Team competency and cohesiveness to work effectively has resulted in successful team dynamics. Building a partnership / team having maintained staffs up to 150 employees.
