Broad background in the Information Technology field, gained in over 20 years of increasing responsibilities in multinational companies across the Americas, where I worked as an international employee for the last fifteen years.Strong experience in integration of IT departments due to merger/acquisition and multinational project management.

I'm fluent in Spanish, German, English and Portuguese and got my education in computer science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey while I was working for CPC International. The company was later acquired by Unilever for wich I still work, currently based in São Paulo, Brazil as Global IT Transformation Programme Lead.

  • As part of the IT Strategy and Planning group, I was responsible for the Americas IT Project Portfolio for Services and Architecture projects. This responsibility includes the overall management of a large project portfolio for infrastructure projects and the appropiate prioritization and approval governance within IT and with the business units.
  • Represented the Americas and leaded one workstream in the design and development of a global project information tool that aims to improve considerably the project prioritization and portfolio balancing through common data, categories and evaluation criteria.
  • Led and participated in several workstreams in the Americas during the transition of the enterprise computing services to HP. These workstreams included Demand Management, Quality and Governance.
  • Led and participated in several workstreams in the IT Americas Transformation, that created single processes and tool to manage the end to end project lifecycle. I was involved in the creation and documentation of several processes and the training of 300+ individuals across the region.

  • Responsible for operations and management of IT infrastructure nationwide. I reorganized and restructured the whole IT area, which was totally mismanaged. The creation of an outsourced Help Desk, the realignment of network services, renegotiations of communication contracts and establishing of methodologies and procedures in several areas such as security and application development raised the service to levels never before attained.
