Summary

Created by Harvard graduates Greg Tseng and Johann Schleier-Smith, Tagged is the new social networking home for Internet-savvy, energetic, interesting individuals seeking to connect with other like-minded people across the globe. Unlike typical social networking sites that focus on linking up with familiar individuals, Tagged users are provided creative and fun tools to network with new friends from all over. Tagged members can also chat, play games, post, and “tag” members with similar interests or appealing profiles.

Enjoying its burgeoning status in the social networking sphere, Tagged continues to build and develop creative new outlets for individuals to express their personalities and network with its user base of over 80 million members. In October 2009, Tagged teamed up with the popular 2009 BET Awards, creating a custom homepage that featured information, news, and show polls showcasing the event. That same month, Tagged and BET partnered again to offer creative applications, MP3 downloads, and show highlights from the network’s 2009 Hip Hop Awards.

Tagged was first introduced to the World Wide Web in 2004. Greg Tseng and Johann Schleier-Smith continue to work on developing innovative features and applications with a team of bright tech professionals who keep the wants and needs of a vibrant, growing Internet community in mind.
