Guy Berg is a proven executive, with 20 years of experience developing profitable product, marketing, and distribution strategies and serving in key sales and management roles. Guy combines a unique combination of financial acumen along with operations management, technical development and product marketing skills required to effectively identify, develop and manage bank service products profitably. 

Guy has indepth payment card industry knowledge and experience including payment card issuance, acquiring, terminal application development, distributed data systems, communication security, fraud prevention, EMV, NFC and certificate management. This background enables him to create innovative approaches to product and business direction and exert industry leadership in any number of payment card market segments. 

At Collis America, Guy leveraged his payments systems industry knowledge and product marketing experience to rapidly establish a leading market position in Brazil and built brand recognition in the United States for tools to test payment system terminals, acquiring and issuing host systems and EMV cards.

At startup venture UbiQ Inc., Guy developed the company's product marketing strategy and supported the worldwide distribution system. He developed a strategy to incorporate existing tools into industry-leading turnkey products. Within two years, the products captured leading shares of key markets in the Asia Pacific region. After UbiQ secured patents for its technology, Guy played a key role in positioning the firm for sale, and after the company was acquired by NBS Technologies, Inc., Guy was the only executive asked to stay on, as business unit manager of the global software business.

At Deluxe Corporation, Guy's product management group introduced one of the first Internet product catalogs ( designed to work in conjunction with customer branded web sites. He also lead the development of a new line of risk assessment, fraud prevention, and marketing products based on an innovative "debit bureau" concept.

Dynamic Card Solutions

Responsible for developing market expansion strategy for Latin America, guiding product strategy for adopting advanced payment technologies for both domestic and international operations and providing consulting services to Issuers considering EMV or NFC issuance.

  • Contributed to the product design strategy for adopting EMV and NFC card issuance support.
  • Built Latin America sales and distribution strategy in conjunction with the Latin American market manager.
  • Lead a product and marketing strategy assessment project to identify the product strengths and weaknesses compared to competing products and market requirements.
  • Supports the U.S. sales force selling EMV, US contactless and NFC issuance capabilities through consultative presentations and consulting engagements.


Collis America

Established the Collis America office with responsibility for North and South America market development for EMV test products and the NFC, EMV and e-ID consulting practice.

  • Built Collis brand recognition in the United States and South America.
  • Established distribution channel in Brazil.

Managed the software business unit as an independent P&L.  Responsible for achieving financial objectives through effectively managing client services, product development and global sales.

  • Built a global distribution strategy that was aligned with and supported the product marketing strategy.
  • Introduced a new product strategy that significantly changed the company's market position leading to new customers and the ability to support products worldwide.

Responsible for leading the product management group reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing and tasked with creating new electronic banking products to be delivered through multiple channels.

  • Managed eight product managers each responsible for developing new electronic banking product services. 
  • Managed alternative channels for delivering products including the Internet and client server based electronic delivery systems.
  • Implemented product management processes for the Deluxe ChexSystems fraud prevention business unit that delivered products to 73 percent of U.S. Banks.
  • Managed the development of new fraud prevention products that incorporated leading edge information modeling technology.

US Bank

Responsible for managing the implementation of all merchant credit card system projects and performing technical analysis to assess new product development investments.

  • Achieved a 50% reduction in chargeback processing time during Eastern Airlines bankruptcy.
