The Charlotte Search Engine Marketing Association

The Search Engine Marketing Association of Charlotte is one of the fastest and is the largest, search engine meetups in the United States.  Started from, we quickly grew to over 450+ members in over two years.  SEMCLT, or the Search Engine Marketing Association of Charlotte, meets every month to discuss and debate the latest trends in the online marketing industry.  

We have guest speakers from around the state present as well as hold panel sessions with multiple speakers.  

Our topics have included: social media marketing, web analytics, and SEO to name only a few.

USHIFU LLC is the leader in cutting edge technology for the treatment of prostate cancer. Currently in Phase III of clinical trials, the Sonablate 500 is currently approved as an alternative treatment in other parts of the world.Using the Sonablate 500, this technology removes prostate cancer through high intensity focused ultrasound.

Experience and Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Oversaw & managed a $650,000 annual pay per click campaign through Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
  • Search engine optimization – results tracked through keyphrase rankings in Web Position Pro and tracked in Google Analytics
  • Tracked ROI of internet based leads – online submissions through forms
  • Utilized for lead importation, keyphrase tracking per patient, and lead distribution
  • email marketing campaigns – Setup, management, and creation of email campaign.
  • Setup and manage goal conversion tracking in Google Analytics.
  • Implemented custom filters through Google Analytics to better track keyphrases used.
  • Creation of Social Media Opportunities – Facebook: Prostate Cancer Awareness Page 
  • Worked with JTA Talent Agency for 60 Second Commercial for Stage III Clinical Trials
