About Gayle Rebovich MD

For several years, Gayle Rebovich, MD, has focused her expertise on neurology and stroke care. A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, she has written several publications and lectures over the course of her career. Recognized in 2015 at the 240th Old North Church Lantern Lighting Ceremony for her work in Sierra Leone with Partners-in-Health, she is a frequent volunteer at health clinics around the world. Gayle Rebovich, MD, currently serves as the director of the stroke program for University Medical Group/Roger Williams Medical Center in Rhode Island.

In her free time, Dr. Gayle Rebovich loves hiking and traveling. She has visited Nepal, Thailand, and Nicaragua for pleasure and spent time in Kenya, India, and Belize on volunteer trips. An adventurer, she went on a 30-day hiking trip in the Himalaya Mountains in Bhutan with Above the Clouds Mountaineering. She also runs for both exercise and enjoyment and has participated in the New York City Marathon. In addition to her volunteer work in other countries, Dr. Rebovich regularly donates to several national organizations, including the National Audubon Society and the Humane Society of the United States.
