Its current turnover is Rs 350 Cr and to reach at Rs. 600 Cr. in FY14 Key Responsibilities Responsible to the Managing Director for all manufacturing, operational activities in the annual production of 12000 tpa of copper & copper alloys. The role involves maximizing the productivity, controlling annual revenue/capital budget, ensuring maximum customer service through an effective sales and operational interface. Spearheading & managing a team of 95 management staff & 430 workers. Ensuring higher market reach and sustained profitability. Continuous Process Improvement program, based on the Operations & Business Excellence model for improvement in productivity and record output levels. Formulating & implementing strategy ensuring that the developing needs of the business are met by the right quantity & quality of skills and debottlenecking in plant capabilities are eliminated through carefully considered capital investment. Introducing Good Manufacturing practices(GMP) & TPM.(Implementing modern quality and productivity improvement techniques like Kaizens, 5S or 3M, ISO 9001 or TS16949, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, TPM & OEE etc. to enhance plant productivity.) Introducing key performance indicators to all employees resulting in greater focus on business results & 100% involvement. Creating Human Capital through Talent acquisition, Retention & Succession planning. Creating customer focus service through value chain and RRCA Ensuring total compliance to defined quality systems and procedures to minimize junk generation & maximize space. Introducing vital inputs in the domains of Product Design, new product development, Process improvement and controls to accelerate developmental work and enhance efficiency.
