§  MARKET RESEARCH AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - JAPAN (2007-09)

  • Have played a significant role in winning Honda Global Supplier status from HGA, Japan for Minda during my role as a business development executive in Japan.
  • Have generated enquiries for Switches, Locks and Horns for India and ASEAN countries from YMC, SMC, KHI and Honda.
  • Given new technology presentations on Switches and Locks to the OEMs in Japan and generated business enquiries based on presentations.
  • Identified customer requirements and market trends and provided ideas to all units of the entire Minda group for there R&D projects.
  • Successfully coordinated detailed technical reviews between Minda Design teams and OEMs (Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki).

oMinda Global SOB review & projections (Region & OEM wise), in Sales and Volumes, Vis-a-vis competitors. This also includes projections and plans for new projects.

§Business Development: Acquiring new customers in related business areas for various units of organization. Role incorporates lead generation, Initial meetings, customer visits and presentation and facilitation between client and organization’s technical heads.

oAcquired new accounts Electric Bikes

ACHIEVEMENTS

§SHOT BLASTING: (2005-06)

Conducted a study on shot blasting technology and successfully implemented it in Minda Industries Ltd., Switch Division plant. (It has now completely replaced Vibro honing process in Pant Nagar manufacturing plant.

§IPR DEPARTMENT: (2005-06)

Sarted the IPR department in Minda Industries Ltd.

Conducted training sessions to increase IPR awareness in Minda (in both Pune and Manesar plants).

During the first year Minda (Switch Div.) filed 5 patents and 10 Industrial design registrations.

§MARKET RESEARCH AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – INDIA (2006-07)

oConducted a market research on the new emerging 2 wheeler segment – Electric Bikes. Based on my research I was able to convince the top management to pursue electric bike OEMs. I was able to generate business enquiries from :

·Genxt motors

oConverted business in:
