Gary is a very focused and highly creative sales executive.

In the two years I worked with Gary at Blair Television, he progressed from a junior account executive fresh out of the company training program, into one of our most productive salespersons, and a candidate for sales management. He has a very high energy level, and is an adaptive learner with great attention to detail. He is pleasant, but persistent, and was/is results-oriented. He produced at a very high level given his minimal experience during the time I worked with him, and I would certainly recommend him for a position in sales/marketing. I am writing this reference on behalf of Mr. Gary Zelasko.

I have a unique perspective of Gary since he has been a professional peer, boss and colleague for over twenty three years now. We entered the Blair Television Training Program together back in January 1986, and I could tell immediately that Gary was going to be a very fierce rival. This was an extremely competitive program with only 8-10 people accepted annually.Gary lead by example everyday, and his commitment to excellence was unparalleled.Gary always stayed late, and made you want to as well. It was the best example of harsh working environment and fun I have ever professionally experienced.Gary made it that way for all of us. Ten years after graduating the training program, I became one of Gary’s employees.Working for Gary was simple. The direction was clear and concise and there was always a game plan. His commitment was the same as it was when we first met. His leadership skills were sharp, and everyone always knew where they stood. In a sales arena, I feel these are qualities that are very hard to come by. The one thing that had changed since our graduation was Gary’s passion for winning had even grown stronger than it was before. That quality is contagious and everyone that worked in that environment could feel it and thrived in it. My final perspective is regarding Gary as a colleague and friend. We have known each other a long time and yet when we speak on the phone, I still hear the passion and commitment even if it has been over six months since we last spoke. Gary is a leader, mentor, coach and devoted father. He is an asset to any organization he is associated with. If you would like any further information regarding Gary, please do not hesitate to call me directly. Sincerely, Kevin C. Gary Zelasko: an ideal blend of passion, determination, intelligence and skill balanced with personality and an infectious sense of humor.

I have worked both with (at WSB-TV) and for Gary (with Group W Television sales). Gary impacts clients and employees alike by an innate ability to go above and beyond the call of duty prior to its being required or expected. Gary personifies professionalism, an excellent choice to lead to success!
