Summary

Gary Reis, founder and current owner of Med Tech Ambulance Service, manages the day-to-day operations of over 400 employees in six facilities throughout Rhode Island. Originally a start-up with just one used ambulance, Med Tech Ambulance Service has grown into the largest ambulatory fleet in the state under Gary Reis’ leadership.

Mr. Reis graduated as an emergency medical technician (EMT) from the Community College of Rhode Island in 1978 and went on to work for Costigan Ambulance Service in Pawtucket for five years. In 1980, Mr. Reis completed specialized EMT training through Roger Williams Hospital for a focus in cardiology. Before founding Med Tech Ambulance Service in 1996, Mr. Reis built an extensive professional profile as a rescue lieutenant and cardiac EMT with Pawtucket Fire Department and later as vice president/partner with Rhode Island Diversified Real Estate.

In addition to his EMT training, Gary Reis is certified as an FAA Private Pilot and Rotor Wing Helicopter Pilot. Mr. Reis also owns and manages A-Stat Medical Billing Management, Inc., and Triton Fleet Services.
