About Gary LoPiccolo

The vice president of safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) for Dynamic Energy Services International, LLC, and its subsidiaries, Gary LoPiccolo is responsible for leading all strategy and execution of the organization’s SH&E functions. He develops and manages a variety of projects that maintain SH&E standards across all of the organization’s operating groups and is in charge of leading a team of more than 20 SH&E professionals. Additionally, he is responsible for an operating budget of more than $1.5 million. Since taking on this position in 2007, Gary LoPiccolo has established a world-class SH&E training system and environmental management system for the organization and created a process to accurately assess employee technical skills.

Gary LoPiccolo prepared for his career by earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in industrial safety management from Central Missouri State University, along with earning the designation of Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He spent much of his early career working for Phillips Petroleum Company in various positions before joining Moreno & Associates as a safety consultant in 1995. In this position, he developed formal SH&E procedures that reduced the company’s recordable safety incidents by 200 percent. In 2000, Mr. LoPiccolo became the safety, health, and environmental manager for Dynamic Energy Services International and was later promoted to his current position.
