Certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Gary Nakauchi took over as the owner and instructor at the Fit Body Boot Camp in Rancho Cucamonga, California, in 2011. At the Fit Body Boot Camp, Nakauchi designs a unique fitness plan for each client tailored to their current level of fitness and overall goals. Aside from showing clients how to burn fat and tone muscle, Gary Nakauchi also motivates them to push themselves during their workouts and achieve success in other aspects of life. Committed to providing his clients with superior personal training services, he seeks new ways to augment his skills and professional knowledge. To that end, Gary Nakauchi attended a two-day workshop in Calabasas held by the NASM. Prior to his current position with Fit Body Boot Camp, Nakauchi learned the fundamentals of personal training at the 24 Hour Fitness in Arcadia. Nakauchi holds a second-degree black belt from Lou Casamassa’s Red Dragon Karate in Covina and has taught private lessons at the dojo’s location in Diamond Bar. Before pursuing a career as a fitness professional, Gary Nakauchi studied law, real estate, and finance at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Utilizing this education, Nakauchi obtained certification as an Accredited Residential Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management and became the co-owner, manager, and marketer for the Roni Deutch Tax Center in Upland. At the franchised tax preparation center, he concentrated his efforts on income taxes and business-to-business relationships. To stay current with developments in the industry, Gary Nakauchi participates with the Upland Chamber Commerce, the California Society of Tax Consultants, and BNI (Business Networking International). As a personal trainer, Gary Nakauchi devotes much of his free time to athletic pursuits and maintaining proper nutrition. In addition, he loves the thrill of riding motocross, sports bikes, and Harley-Davidsons. An accomplished cyclist, he has been designated a Category 3 Road Bicycle Racer by USA Cycling and belongs to the National Off-Road Bicycle Association.
