Technical lead in a 50 people project for Multi-Topology Routing(efficient Routing in Triple-play Networks for a large Cable provider). Pioneer and co-inventor of Non-Stop Routing that fundamentally changed how Routing convergence happened in the Internet and enabled 99. 999% up-time for Networks(5 9' s). Led and architected the IP/IPv6 VPN design for scalability and convergence giving 10X improvement. Drove strategy and co-architected Label Switched Multicast for Inter-AS Multicast VPNs. This helped establish Cisco leadership in Multicast VPN with expected revenue of several billion dollars. Architected and led the improvement of Routing/Forwarding Convergence on Cisco routers resulting in-fold improvement. Brought down BGP convergence from over 45 minutes to under 5 minutes. Helped win and conserve several billion dollars of Tier-1 accounts with 15 min SLAs. Architected and designed IP/VPNs using BGP to enable Service Providers with IP-only cores to provision and sell VPN services. Led to several billion dollars of business for the major Tier 1 ISP and Cisco. Architected, designed and developed an infrastructure for dynamic BGP Update generation. This project resulted in several customer account wins and several million dollars in business.
