After receiving a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1970 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, Dr. Garey Lee Weber began his career by serving the podiatric needs of residents throughout Southern California. Dr. Weber has maintained practices in Irvine, Studio City, Pomona, Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Granada Hills. Dr. Garey Lee Weber also serves on the staff at Starpoint Surgery Center in Irvine and Victorville, California. In 2005, he became the sole owner of the California Foot and Ankle Institute in Victorville, and established the Irvine office in 2010. From 1976 to 1984, Dr. Weber founded and oversaw a preceptorship program, teaching podiatrists surgical procedures and office management strategies. Dr. Weber has also served as Chief of Podiatry at hospitals in Simi Valley and Granada Hills and has frequently spoken at podiatry conferences, addressing the Academy of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Surgery, the International College of Podiatric Laser Surgery, and the Affiliated Podiatrists of California, Inc. On one occasion, Dr. Garey Lee Weber traveled to China to give lectures to orthopedic surgeons who were interested in minimally invasive bunion surgery techniques that Dr. Weber developed. His article on minimally invasive bunion surgery was published in the Journal of Neurological and Orthopaedic Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Garey Lee Weber has also served as a consultant for an electronic medical records program developed by Sabal Medical, Inc. The program provides paperless medical records for tracking patient information, including registration, referrals, insurance, scheduling, and billing. Additionally, Dr. Weber helped develop a protocol for measuring the effectiveness of the OssaTron treatment for heel pain. In the past, Dr. Weber was the Western Regional Director of 13 states for the Academy of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Garey Lee Weber has also been a member of numerous podiatric professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, Inc., and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
