Ganesh Sobhun

Senior Clinical Trainer

Summary

After my graduation, I never dreamed that I would assist at an operating table in various countries. Although my course was unexpected, it was one of the natural progressions in my career. Working for Maquet has given me this opportunity to travel globally to promote medical therapy to the caregivers and well informed patient. I have 11 year experience as a Surgical Assistant, during these years, I was surrounded by great mentors both MD’s and SCP’s who instilled in me the importance of the tasks we accomplished on a daily routine. Possessing medical knowledge, surgical skills and strong work ethic gave me the confidence to train surgeons and sales professionals internationally.

Today, I used my skills and experience to teach others about Cardiac Surgery and Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting. I support the sales units via workshops and presentations and assist in growing regional and Global Markets. I tailor my training to both the audience and to the venue within a conference room or the operating room. I always enjoy going back to my roots and doing hands on training within an operating room.
