Mr. Gallegos recently managed operations in the Americas for NeuStar NGM; an applications/solutions development company focused in the wireless space. Under his leadership NeuStar was able to secure business and relationships with Mobile Operators, OEM and Portals in the US and Latin America.

During his tenure, fastmobile secured business with prime tier one operators, OEM's, portals and value added providers and expanded the reach of the company to new geographies and markets. All of the before mentioned accomplishments contributed to the successful exit out of the market by fastmobile when at the end of 2007 it was purchased by Research in Motion (RIM).

Independant Consultant

As an independant consultant my goal was to assist up and coming software application and technology companies to penetrate the Latin American and Southern European Wireless Operators. Device market and business strategy and alignments, and provide general managerial guidance. Day to day responsability have included; Business Development, Sales Planning, Market Analysis, Channel Development and Sales.

Within this timeframe I was retained by a CRM Company based in Madrid, Spain with the objective of preparing a comprehensive business plan for Latin America. This plan: Market Analysis, Country by Country Opportunity Assessment, in country Resource Recommendation, Channel Partner Model Development, Recommendations of Channel Partner Candidates and Sales Plan Preparation.

Retained by a software applications company with solutions for Mobile operators to prepare a concentrated sales plan for 5 targeted opportunities in 3 countries. Reviewed and signed channel partners, prepared sales plan and carried out direct and channel sales strategy for the 5 targeted opportunities.  Constructed pipeline of opportunities for 2005 and 2006 and closed one of the 5 targeted opportunities.

Retained by a software applications company focused on the wireless roaming space. Prepared comprehensive Business Plan for the America's. This included sales forecast, business development objectives, market status, competition, cost estimates and general milestones. Hired America's sales, pre-sales and PM team.  Build Solid pipeline for 2004 and 2005. Closed major accounts in North America, the Caribbean and South America, exceeding 2004 goals (bookings, revenue, and profitability).

With Genesys Telecommunications Labs (an Alcatel subsidiary), Gabriel took over a small team and in less then two years grew the operations to more than 50 people and over $45M in revenue. He closed deals with multiple multi-national clients; Citibank, Telefonica, Bell South, Banco Santander, TIM, among other multinational corporations managed by the LATAM team.Genesys became the standard for the contact center solution in Latin America reaching a penetration of 85% in the Telecommunications market and more than 60% in the Financial Services market.
