Started time with Disney at Disneyland Hotel as a cashier in Food & Beverage QSR Department in 1999, in which worked various department locations, such as: snack cart, quick food restaurant, and coffeehouse. As cashier, completed cash transactions in a timely and efficient manner, food expediting, stocking, made specialty coffee drinks, performed cleaning duties. and balance cash drawer at end of shift.
In Fall of 2000, was offered opportunity for growth on opening team of new resort hotel Disney's Grand Californian Hotel in which earned promotion to shift lead in Food & Beverage Casual Dining Department. As shift lead, maintained four locations: full service lobby bar, quick service restaurant, pool bar, and cast cafeteria. Responsibilities included: ordering and maintaining stock products and supplies for front-of-house needs, timely relieving cast members for breaks, performing shift switch-overs, balancing and maintaining manager safe fund, processing end-of-day paperwork, and handling any other guest or cast needs.
