Great Barrington, Massachusetts, resident Gabi Losoncy has steadily gained experience in the realm of publishing since entering the industry as a Teen Correspondent for a daily newspaper. Taking interviews and writing articles on subjects that appealed to young adults, Gabi Losoncy was published in the Voices section of the Reading Eagle. The newspaper serves 64,000 readers throughout Reading and Berks counties in Pennsylvania. At the same time, Gabi Losoncy served as Caretaker at Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ. In this position, she assisted in various areas, including sewing pageant costumes and overseeing charitable and community events.

Leaving Pennsylvania to pursue other interests, Gabi Losoncy accepted a job with Florida-based book publisher DC Press. As a Bookseller, she initially sold books throughout the Northeastern United States at conventions and conferences. After returning to school, she narrowed the scope of her duties, typing and editing books and serving as a design consultant. In her position with DC Press since 2006, Gabi Losoncy has assisted with the publication of several books, including a book on sales, If It Weren’t for the Customer, Selling Would Be Easy. Additionally, she designed the cover of Turning People On: How to Be an Encouraging Person. In this position, she has expanded her computer skills, gaining proficiency with various programs, including Microsoft Excel.

While continuing in her role with DC Press, Florida native Gabi Losoncy accepted a position with Robin’s Candy Store and its sister store, a souvenir shop called You Are Here. The two shops, which are owned by Country Provisions, LLC, are located in Great Barrington and serve Berkshire, Dutchess, Litchfield, and Columbia counties in western Massachusetts.
