  • Advise Department of Defense branches responsible for international outreach and disaster relief in Asia on social media applications
  • Oversee development of online portal for professional networking and distance education for senior security affairs practitioners from 40+ countries in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Travel frequently to Asia region to execute strategic communication of program objectives to multinational user base
  • Collect and write user requirements and use cases; map off-line business processes and redesign for online environment

  • Manage projects related to product development and marketing at online video company with corporate, scholastic, and government clients
  • Develop licensing deals with content producers, including television networks, music labels and filmmakers in the U.S., Latin America, and Spain

The Carter Center
  • Monitored campaign season, voting, and counting process in four elections (Ethiopia, 2005; Indonesia, 2004; East Timor, 2001 and 2002), serving as lead election observer in Ethiopian presidential elections of 2005
  • Advised Western embassies and United Nations officials on political developments in run-up to elections and wrote political background reports for contingents of senior-level (e.g., ministerial, presidential) observers

  • Wrote all marketing communications materials, including annual reports, press articles, executive communications, speeches, web content, and case studies
  • Designed and executed international media campaign that resulted in coverage by major news outlets including The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN
  • Participated in study missions to developing countries (Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco). As part of team of private sector bankers, met with central bank governors, finance ministers, and bank CEOs to assess the progress of financial sector reform. Compiled follow-up policy memoranda for U.S. Department of State that resulted in a doubling of the organization’s funding. 
  • Managed website and liaised daily with overseas staff and partner financial sector institutions on four continents to obtain and disseminate relevant information
