McDonald's Restaurant

This role has involved working in a diverse range of areas within the restaurant. I have worked in the kitchen, in customer service (both on front counter and in drive-through) and in maintenance roles. Throughout my time here I have learnt to work in a busy and demanding team environment, to serve customers in a friendly and engaging manner and to follow company policies and procedures. I have had the opportunity to take on temporary leadership roles, managing teams on staff over certain periods. I have demonstrated an ability to adapt to a range of requirements and follow instruction promptly and comprehensively. I have also developed skills in in showing initiative and undertaking tasks within being prompted.

This experience gave me a chance to appreciate the working environment of a small drafting company. I was given the opportunity to engage in client consultation, to learn to use design software (AutoCAD) and to create my own designs.

Participation in Seconde (Year 10)

I participated in a full load of 'Seconde' classes for a period of eight weeks as part of a three month exchange program with the World Education Program.


From the set-up of Gymnastic equipment to restaurant cleanliness and advanced experience in vat maintenance, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in relation to general maintenance duties.
Food Preparation
Working in a thriving restaurant environment I have had a number of years' experience in food preparation, cleanliness and food safety.
Customer Service
I thoroughly enjoy providing quality service and a rewarding experience to customers. My work with McDonald's Leongatha has provided me with sound capabilities in this area as well as, a solid basis of policy and procedural knowledge including the safety and security aspects of dealing with clientele. I am particularly dedicated to ensuring customers feel valued and have been trained in customer recovery processes.


I am an exciting young person with a dedication to community involvement, a enthusiastic interest in politics and current affairs as well as a strong focus on personal and career development. I am currently seeking part-time/casual employment in a engaging and diverse environment, to support me as I complete a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws degree at the Australian National University . Following completion of my degree, I wish to work in the legal field with an aim to move into Federal Politics and/or International Diplomacy.

This is the most prestigious award at Mary MacKillop C.R.C. and is awarded for outstanding contribution to the college community.


I have many varied interests that are central to my life and goals. I seek to involve myself in active community initiatives such as, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and being a Regional Representative for World Youth Day 2008. My cultural pursuits include debating, public speaking, visual arts, creative writing and many others. I also enjoy undertaking alternative sporting pursuits, including rogaining and bush walking. Politics is a particular interest of mine and I have previously sought opportunities like a Model United Nations Conference on Refugees: Rights and Risks.

- Was involved as a leader with the St. Laurence’s Parish Youth Group and Sale Youth Gatherings

Stage Performance

- Was a member of the male chorus for Leongatha Lyric Theatre’s 2007 production of Grease.


- Participated in the Debaters’ Association of Victoria Schools Competition from 2005 to 2009.
