I am the liaison between the business and technology teams and I gather and analyze stakeholder information, ascertain needs and then document them in the form of requirements. I interface with business users, IT developers and IT and business leadership to ensure that IT builds or buys a product that meets business needs in a productive and cost effective manner.
I have experience in mainframe, client server and web environments and in a variety of IT roles. This background allows me to understand what each team member needs from others and how that team member benefits the project. I have experience in quality assurance and project management in addition to systems analysis.
I feel that communication is vital and I work especially hard to convey the big picture as well as the details to team members. I work hard to ensure that business team members understand the how's or why's of a project solution and are not lost in the many technical details and jargon of IT.
