  • Develop and implement localized marketing strategy for ten restaurant/bars
  • Manage Marketing Coordinator, student interns and in-store social media contacts
  • Aid in the inception and development of new PRG brands; maintain current knowledge of national and local restaurant and food trends
  • Identify and develop partnerships to pursue from branding, PR, sales and community perception standpoints; notable partnerships include Whole Foods Market, Arden Hills Resort & Spa, Sierra at Tahoe
  • Plan, market and execute events, ranging from intimate wine education classes, to large-scale outdoor events that require extensive city permitting; managed all marketing and PR for Sacramento’s first New Year’s Eve Ball Drop, which brought 10,000+ people to K Street

It brings together the organizations, information and resources in the pursuit of jobs, talent and investment needed to ensure regional prosperity and global competitiveness.  As part of the Marketing Committee, I provide input and support to the SACTO marketing team, attend monthly meetings and help with specific projects.

Midtown Business Association - Marketing Committee  www.mbasac.comMBA is a volunteer group relying on the energies of the local business community that makes up its membership.  The marketing committee is responsible for the development of a marketing plan focused on the branding of Midtown Sacramento, which is presented to the Executive Board.NeoCrocker - Logistics Committee  www.neocrocker.comNeoCrocker is an annual event put on by the Crocker Art Museum that is aimed at attracting a diverse and younger demographic to the museum.  The event in October 2010 attracted over 3,000 attendees and raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Crocker Art Museum.  As part of the logistics committee, I was responsible for the planning and execution of the event layout, including staging, lighting, sound, tables and seating, portable bars and much more.  I also aided in the marketing and promotional efforts for the event.

I have worked with a number of CMS systems in order to create content and/or edit websites.  I also have a basic understanding of HTML coding.

Adobe Creative Suite

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.  I have used all three in various ways:   Develop and design new logos Design and maintain restaurant menus Design print and web ads, including animated .gifs Develop and design promotional materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, etc. Edit photos to be used for website, ads, etc.
