To Whom This May Concern:

During the course of Craig's 8+ years with Espresso Royale Caffe, he has become an indispensable employee. His superiorknowledge of the coffee industry, ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers alike, and willingness to take on greater responsibility has made him one of the most valuable employees on my staff.

When I first began working with Craig, I immediately recognized that he was highly regarded by all of the fellow staff. This is due in a large part to his congenial, up-beat personality. His positive energy is infectious. He brightens the days of co-workers and customers alike whenever he is working. Add to this his dedication and amazing work ethic, and it is no surprise he is so well respected. When Craig is working, I am confident that the cafe will run smoothly and efficiently. He is able to give his fellow employees clear direction so that all necessary tasks are thoroughly completed all the while diligently working by their sides.

Craig also has a firm understanding that the cafe is a sum of its parts and, when one part of the cafe is performing at a substandard level, the entire cafe hurts. To this end, Craig is always willing to help out. Whether it is coming in early orstaying late, inventing new products and promotions, or sharing and implementing strategies to keep the cafe cleaner and more organized, I know I can count on Craig to have fresh, creative ideas to improve the cafe.

Throughout my time working with Craig, I have seen him take on increasingly greater responsibility. He is in charge oftraining new employees, managing the tea and point of sales inventory, and has even assisted with the interviewing of new employees. He also volunteers to take on projects during his off hours. In one instance, he helped our store save a significant amount of money when he came in after closing and re-tiled part of the store's floor. I have rarely seen such commitment from an employee during my 13 years with Espresso Royale Caffe.

I am sad to loose Craig as an employee, but I know that he is ready to take more responsibility. I can confidently say Craig embodies all the qualities needed to be an outstanding team member wherever he ends up, Craig's drive, determination, and commitment to a job a well done will allow him, and those around him, to flourish. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide any additional information concerning Craig's abilities.

To whom this may concern:

In 2007, Craig approached me about a job possibility at an upscale hair salon I was opening. His professional, friendly demeanor immediately won me over and soon after hiring him it became apparent he had much to offer as an employee.

In just a few weeks of training Craig was able to retain a wealth of new, unfamiliar information. He gained a solid understanding of the services and products offered at our salon and mastery of the salon's software program. This is critical because as a receptionist, Craig is the one who guides our clients on the appropriate services and products and must provide accurate price quotes. When entering this information into the salon's database, Craig's understanding of the software and his attention to detail was refreshing as the smallest mistake at this stage can have costly consequences.

Furthermore, owning a business in the service industry, I demand my staff to provide the best customer care possible and it was here where Craig's warm, welcoming personality truly showed. He was able to effectively manage multiple tasks with ease always approaching them with a certain lightheartedness that added a positive energy to the workplace. This positive energy continued into his interactions with our clients. Craig quickly formed familial relationships with our clients, greeting them by name and anticipating their needs. It is this quality of customer care that enables my salon to maintain a base of regular clients throughout the southeast. Yet Craig didn't forget about his job when he left the salon at the end of the day; he continually promoted my business and recruited new clients during his time off.

Finally, Craig's keen insight and drive to succeed meant he often made valuable suggestions and took actions to improve the salon. In one such instance, Craig initiated and managed an arts program that featured local artists each month and gave them the opportunity to display and sell their work at the salon. This program brought new clients into the salon while also offering support to the local artist community. It was these ideas and Craig's resourcefulness to see them through that gave me confidence in his ability to take on new responsibilities and work independently.

Craig is missed at Republic Salon, but I know he must go on to do great things. This opportunity is a step towards his ultimate goal and, if given the opportunity, Craig will provide your organization a commitment and work ethic that is rarely seen.

If you have any questions concerning Craig's ability, please feel free to contact me by phone or via email.
