I am currently a full-time diploma student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic studying Child Psychology and Early Education, expecting to graduate in 2012. I realised that I find satisfactions whenever I am able to provide the necessary help needed by each child. I am interested in learning about how the children's minds work and how different experiences and stimulations affect the brain connections. It is my ambition to become a child psychologist one day so that I will have the essential knowledge to aid these children.

Intern (Childcare centre)

  • Work side-by-side with the teacher as an assistant teacher to the Playgroup class with 23 children.
  • Gained extensive knowledge of the role of an assistant teacher and classroon management skills, including converstion skills with parents, co-workers and children.
  • Was exposed to the management and routines of a  Childcare centre.
  • Did real-time observation and recording of the motor skills of toddler using running records.
  • Gained knowledge of the mindsets of professionals in the field, including the practicality of implementing various “ideal” classroom environments.




Able to record and edit audio input using Audacity to suit needs the needs of videos.

Window Movie Maker

Able to use Window Movie Maker to create videos and presentations.

Adobe Photoshop and Flash

Has used Adobe Photoshop to create poster and edit images and designs. Able to use Adobe Flash to create media-rich applications that includes sound effects, pictures and animations,etc.

Microsoft Word

Able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint to create documents, presentations and spreadsheets effectively.   Created Video tuotrial on the functions usage in Microsoft Excel.
