I am currently a student at University of Missouri-Columbia majoring in journalism and minoring in anthropology while in the honors program. Originally from Boise, Idaho, my writing interests lie in the arts, new media, and social justice issues.

I am a staff writer, designer, and blogger with the MU independent student newspaper, The Maneater. I am also a non-fiction reader with the on-campus literary magazine, Epic.

I am currently seeking journalism internships for the summer of 2010. With my enthusiasm to learn, close attention to detail, and passion for writing, I am confident I would be a great seasonal member of any news organization.
