Brian Burke has over 15 years of experience in the IT Security industry, working for both vendor and analyst agencies, including IDC and Gartner. He is currently the Sr. Director of Market Intelligence & Analyst Relations at Kaspersky Lab. At Kaspersky, Brian is responsible for all facets of analyst relations, competitive intelligence, market research, corporate strategy, sales enablement, and market forecasting.
Prior to Kaspersky, Brian was Program Director of IDC's Security Products and Services program. Brian conducted in-depth primary research and provided insight and analysis on a variety of security markets. He was a frequent speaker at many security industry conferences, including RSA. He was also a regular contributor to numerous business and trade publications, such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Boston Globe, San Jose Mercury News, Washington Post, Fortune, ComputerWorld, Network World, InfoWorld, and others.
