The Center for a New American Security
At CNAS, I researched and wrote on natural resources and climate change as national security issues. I was responsible for updating the Natural Security program's research blog with original analytical posts and daily news items. In addition, I helped fellows and research assistants edit and proofread op-eds, policy briefs, book reviews, and research reports, as well as create presentation materials. I also assisting with program planning logistics, including inviting participants and manning registration tables. While at CNAS, I published an op-ed in Defense News about the U.S. Navy's potential use of thorium as a fuel source for its nuclear fleet.
