Created companies first e-commerce web site in 1998 generating online sales of $1m in annual sales. • Oversee the outside sales force and inside sales/customer service department; develop strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout these operations. • Successfully manage the need of clients in support of meeting the objectives of overall company business plans and strategies; work with Purchasing on new product lines and vendors that suit the customer base. • Authorized to purchase marketing campaigns, increase/decrease compensation of workforce, and hiring and termination of employees. • Establish and direct the management policies and procedures that ensure expedient service to customers, cost-effective practices internally, and management methods to generate higher work-flow optimization levels. • Motivate sales force to increase revenue through up-selling and promotional programs; implement new, innovative processes and deal effectively with key clients as well as internal personnel. • Maintain a positive, professional image that reflects well on the overall organization; contribute expert industry knowledge, business insight/vision, and quality relationship management to ensure smooth, seamless and profitable operations. • Awarded the Armor All Distributorship for the Midwest, expanded the territory from $30K to $400K annually over first 16 months. Also sold one of the first Armor All online Applicators. (1999-2003) • Led the acquisition of several janitorial supply companies including one with $2M in annual sales, another with $600K in annual sales, and integration of yet another with $1M in annual sales
