Hello all! I have just recently graduated from Baylor University in December of '09 with a B.S.E. (Bachelor of Science in Education). I have decided to reside in Waco, where I have committed myself to my sport, track and field. I ran 4 years of track for Baylor University, and now am a professional middle-distance runner currently looking for a PART-TIME job in the Allied Health field.
I am gone a lot during the spring and summer for competitions, mostly held during the weekends. I would be able to help out part-time on the days that I am in town, which is more than not. I realize that I have just graduated and have not much time to get plugged in, but you have to start somewhere! I would really like to get my certification for clinical exercise physiology, but in order to do that I have to have logged 600 hours of work experience before I can take the test. I am currently studying for the test anyway, along with the Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Health Fitness Instructor exams.
I am very drawn towards clinical exercise physiology, whether it is working with high-school, recreational, or elite athletes, or working with the young or the elderly who need physical assessments, fitness testing, and exercise programming. I really have a heart to see people meet their exercise goals in whatever setting that may be. Thank you for taking the time to read this Summary and I hope to hear back from you!
