Graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and subsequently acquiring his Juris Doctorate with an emphasis on Intellectual Property, executive Bruce Furst has led a decades-long career in the entertainment licensing industry. Bruce Furst initially launched his career as a licensing professional, working with renowned corporate entities such as Paramount Pictures, the Major League Baseball Players Association, and Ritz-Carlton Hotels. In 2000, Bruce Furst struck out on his own, becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of Ashber Corporation in Austin, TX. Functioning as an Executive Producer, Bruce Furst negotiates film rights and distribution agreements to acquire licenses for music content and movie productions. Demonstrating a keen eye for opportunity in this capacity, Bruce Furst produced 2006’s bestselling album within the holiday music compilation category, a disc which featured the musical talents of veteran artists Tony Bennett and Luther Vandross as well as newer acts such as Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera. Bruce Furst’s latest enterprise is the creation of a syndicated entertainment radio show for which he plans to act as host. Besides his many professional projects, Bruce Furst engages in a number of charitable efforts. In support of humanitarian causes worldwide, Bruce Furst donates to Amnesty International USA. Participating in academic organizations as well, Bruce Furst is a member of the UCLA Alumni Association and the Harvard University Parent Fundraising Committee.
