Battalion Operations Officer

Operations Officer of a 145 Soldier USAR TASS Training Battalion with the mission of providing five MOS awarding certifications in Transportation. Provide leadership, mission guidance and assistance to the S-3 Section to execute ARPRINT mission and improve overall BN readiness. Ensure all individual, collective and instructor certification training are conducted to standard, tracked, and reported. Brief the Commander and staff on all facets training, as it relates to missions/critical activities. Responsible for pop-up mission and operations as directed by higher echelons; ensures that unit completes and complies with all operational requirements. Foster a positive organizational climate that embraces the Army values. Serve as BN Safety Officer and OPSEC OIC. Demands that safety programs and risk management are embed into all training events. Serve as Family Support Officer.
