Coordinated the daily activity of the pumps and motor group; consisting of design, system and product engineering, a product engineering technician and three development and production technicians. lead a group of three environmental test technicians to achieve risk mitigation, development and qualification test plan goals. Machined, inspected, and assembled parts, and performed purchasing functions. Went on-site during government field trials to setup equipment, troubleshoot/resolve problems and perform tests. - Developed mechanical desings for prototype Arms Control Verificatino Gravity Gradiometer including: component design, analysis, detail drawings, fixturing, handling devices and manufacturing engineering. - Successfully transitioned the laboratory system to the harsh field environment; achieved every goal established within the required budged and schedule. - Earned a Teamwork Excellence Award for team leadership and performance during field trials.

HSC Controls Inc., was assumed into the Woodward Gonernor company's Rockford, IL facility. I was a member of the jet-pipe servovalve team, creating custom components (magnets, housings, sleeves (bushings), etc.) for the entire family of jet-pipe products. - I standardized the use of GD&T across the family of component drawings. - I estabilshed the optimal reporting technique for creating "is" and "was" conditions on engineering change orders. - My problem solving abilities were recognized early and I was rewarded with many opportunities to contribute to root cause and corrective action inquires.
Designed everything from test fixtures to primary flight control hydraulic components. Cradle to grave product owner who enjoys the "hands on" aspect of engineering and testing. I never met a challenge I couldn't overcome.
