General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program is an intensive 3 month, full-time course teaching students the latest and most relevant web technologies being used by the industry today.
The purpose of the program is to equip students with the knowledge and practical experience needed to become well-rounded and job-ready full-stack developers. During the course I have learnt and gained hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Ruby Language and Ruby on Rails 4.0
- HTML5 & CSS
- APIs such as Google Maps API
- TDD & BDD utilising RSpec
- Agile Methodologies
My solid grasp of the above topics have culminated in the creation of 3 original and interesting web apps - Evently, Carbonatr, Vocabulate Me.
