The General Manager of Porsche of Annapolis, Frank Donatoni has more than 40 years of experience working in luxury and exotic automobile sales, the majority of his career spent in managerial roles. During the last 12 years, Mr. Donatoni has worked solely at Porsche dealerships, and in 2000, he helped launch the first corporate-compliant Porsche store in the United States. Frank Donatoni spends his free time enjoying the company of his wife and daughter and following Formula One, NASCAR, and IndyCar racing. Prior to launching his career, Frank Donatoni earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Business from New York University. Straight out of college, he joined Algar Enterprises, Inc./Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports as a Sales Representative. After two years in this position, Mr. Donatoni received a promotion to Sales Manager of the Paoli, Pennsylvania-based dealership. From 1974 to 1982, he helped elevate the company to the top-rated U.S. Ferrari dealership, in terms of sales, for six years. While working at Algar Enterprises, Inc./Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports, Frank Donatoni developed expertise selling and marketing Ferraris, Aston Martins, Jensens, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos, and Lancias. He served numerous high-profile customers, including Mario Andretti, Teddy Pendergrass, and Muhammad Ali. Frank Donatoni went on to work as Regional Leasing Manager for Vanguard Leasing, Inc., an Owner and Manager at Donatoni Imported Luxury Cars, and a Sales Representative and Team Leader for Wilmington Motor Cars (now Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington). More recently, Frank Donatoni served as a General Sales Manager for Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia and Brandywine Porsche. From 2004 to 2007, he headed Brandywine Porsche as General Manager. During that time, the dealership received Porsche’s distinguished Premier Dealer Status and Perfect Service Award.
