A board-certified otolaryngologist and oro-facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Brettschneider has served patients at Port Huron ENT for more than two decades. Dr. Brettschneider possesses extensive clinical experience addressing ear, nose, and throat conditions with advanced procedures, including laryngeal surgery, outpatient oro-facial procedures, oncologic head and neck surgery, and skin cancer treatments. To ensure fast and accurate diagnoses, Port Huron ENT employs the latest medical technologies, such as a comprehensive laser center, full audiology services, and a spectrum of allergy treatments. After managing the clinic by himself for a decade, Dr. Frank Brettschneider brought on Dr. Neal Obermyer, a specialist in otolaryngology, in 2000. Prior to launching his practice, Dr. Frank Brettschneider completed his clinical training at Mt. Clemens General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University. Dr. Brettschneider underwent a yearlong internship in osteopathic medicine and a four-year residency in oro-facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology. An alumnus of Michigan State University, he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class with his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Brettschneider also received a degree in pharmacology from Ferris State University, where he won the Upjohn Award for Excellence in Pharmacy and was the valedictorian of his class. Dr. Frank Brettschneider maintains a reputation as one of the top otolaryngologists in the region, holding affiliation with four local hospitals. To that end, he plays an active role with the Michigan Osteopathic Association, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Otolaryngological Society, and other local medical organizations. Distinguished as a Fellow in the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, he has garnered the organization’s Presidential Achievement, Foundation, and Governors Achievement Awards. Committed to ensuring a high level of professionalism among his colleagues, Dr. Brettschneider performs peer reviews for the American Physician Insurance Corporation and the State of Michigan License Board.
