Summary

Educated, reliable and responsible career nanny whom has cared for children since 1994. After obtaining my Associate Diploma in Child Studies, I worked as a preschool teacher for 4 years before beginning my first nanny role in 1998. I have experience caring for children from age 3 months through to 12years. My warm, caring and honest nature has seen me permanently employed as a nanny since then, working in many long term positions for some wonderful families, including twins and nanny share roles. As a nanny, I believe that safety is the number one priority. I also understand the importance of respecting the values of individual families and adhering to their beliefs. I acknowledge  the importance of successful communication between parents and their nanny, and always welcome open discussions regarding any issues that may arise. My attitude towards discipline is 'firm but fair', maintaining consistency, and setting age appropriate limits for the children in my care, combined with the expectations of you, the parent.I have a great sense of humour, am extremely patient and pride myself on punctuality. I use my knowledge of child development in conjunction with the needs of families to assist them in raising happy, healthy and well-adjusted children. Im happy to assist with minor household chores and errands, as well as share my talented culinary skills if need be.

My job is to make your life easier
